Lecture Today at Collin College: Marriage and Equality Under our Constitution

Today I gave a Constitution Day lecture at Collin College in Collin County, Texas–just north of Dallas.

It was a great audience, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity.

I’ll post the video here once it’s available.  UPDATE

The first half hour is about the new things we say about marriage: (1) that parents need not be involved in the marital decision, (2) that men and women should have nearly equal–identical–roles in the household, and (3) that marriage need not involve male and female.

At the 36 minute mark, I begin part two–what we’ve forgotten–as elaborated in three topics: (1) men’s gluttony for the smile (at 46 minutes), (2) the “bad boy (at 50 minutes), and (3) the friendzone (at 53 minutes).  All these topics I explore more deeply in Getting Hitched.

D–n, I talk too fast.  Oh well.
